Sweltering Head, 2025, oil on canvas, 38 x 42 in.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the opening of I’m Just Trying to Find a Little Joy Here, my first solo exhibition at DIMIN. The vibes felt so warm and uplifting – like the perfect day at the beach– and it truly means the world to share this new body of work with friends, family, and community.

For those who couldn’t make it, here’s a glimpse of the show on view.

This exhibition brings my paintings and sculptures together for the first time, weaving fantasies of desire with memories of summers along the Long Island shore. I approached the work like stepping into an imagined landscape, letting visions surface through moments of meditation and flow, shaped by fragments of drawings, family photographs, and images gathered online.

Deep Water (detail), 2025, oil on canvas 48 x 63.5 in.

I’m Just Trying to Find a Little Joy Here is on view at DIMIN in New York through October 25. If you’re in the city, I’d love for you to stop by and experience the work in person.
